Along with arrangements of seminal Baroque masterworks, Distance presents the accordion-saxophone interplay to distinctive effect with contemporary compositions by Krzysztof Penderecki, Toru Takemitsu, Luciano Berio, Astor Piazzolla and also includes Theodor Burkali’s SaxAccordia, a piece written for and dedicated to the performers.
